An Augmented Reality System for Safe Human-Robot Collaboration

چکیده

Closer interaction in Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC) could result increased worker ef?ciency manufacturing situations. However, physical cages often limit this. Our research is investigating the potential for using Augmented Reality (AR) to visualise virtual safety zones, thus replacing real cages. This paper presents initial experiments towards addressing issues of how display zones and what size they should be relation a robot arm order ensure safe working practices.

A projected augmented reality system for remote collaboration

This paper describes an AR system for remote collaboration using a captured 3D model of the local user’s scene. In the system a remote user can manipulate the scene independently of the view of the local user and add AR annotations that appear projected into the real world.
